Here's a pencil portrait of a couple who raised two daughters. One daughter commissioned this portrait from their favorite photo as a Christmas gift for her sister. The man was wearing a loud plaid suit that was fashionable at the time, but now screamed eighties vintage so by request Joe made the suit plain in the portrait.

Unfortunately we didn't scan the original drawing. This is reproduced from a photocopy which means some of the more subtle tones have dropped out. Even so, you can see the wonderful texture effect of the paper.
